LDT SYSTEM

Software Development

Custom software development

Scenarios

  • Off-the-shelf software does not fit your real workflow, so gaps are patched by hand and spreadsheets
  • A legacy system is hard to maintain and you need to rebuild without disrupting operations
  • You have a clear business idea but lack a team to turn it into a stable system
  • Disconnected tools force duplicate data entry and cause errors

Our Approach

ClientAPI layerServicesDatabase

We treat custom software as a journey from a business problem to maintainable code, not a one-off handover. Every project starts by clarifying what problem the system solves and what success looks like before we discuss technology.

Requirements and scoping

We interview key users to turn vague expectations into an acceptable feature list and process flows, helping you separate must-haves from nice-to-haves so the budget targets the core flows that create value.

Architecture and technology choices

We select a stack based on data volume, concurrency, integrations and your team's ability to maintain it, defining system boundaries, data models and API contracts before development begins.

  • Modular architecture where each module deploys and tests independently
  • Data schema and API contracts defined first so front and back end progress in parallel
  • Standard integration with existing ERP, payment and messaging systems

Iterative delivery

We work in short iterations, giving you a usable result at every milestone. Code is version controlled and tested, and delivery includes deployment and maintenance documentation so your team can take over.

Tech Stack / Deliverables

  • Requirements specification and process flows
  • System architecture and data model documentation
  • Maintainable source code with version control and automated tests
  • Deployment scripts and environment configuration
  • Operations manual and handover documentation

FAQ

How long does a custom system take?
It depends on scope. We prefer to ship a minimum viable version of the core flow in weeks, then expand, rather than delivering after months. A concrete estimate follows the requirements interview.
Can you maintain a system built by another team?
Yes. We first audit the code and architecture to assess maintainability and risk, then propose a takeover or refactor scope.
Who owns the source code after delivery?
For custom work, source code and copyright belong to the client per contract, with full code and deployment docs provided and no lock-in.
